All posts supplied by QLD Fancy Fencing meet wind loading & loading standard AS/NZS1926.1/1993
All balustrades conform with AS/NZS1170
All toughened safety glass conforms to Australian Standards for Building Materials and Fencing in accordance with regulatory standards and applicable quality of manufacturing controls as measured by BENCHMARK CERTIFICATION - a third party independent company.
All glass meeting this standard will carry the Conformance Mark Logo as customer verification.
All safety glass meets AS/NZS2208/1996
All supplied fencing meets the Minium Fencing Height Standard of 1200 millimetres from ground point to fence top.
All horizontal railing is at least 900 millimetres apart.
All supplied gate and hinge & lock kits are automatically closing with a latch release 1500 millimetres from ground point (1200 + 300 millimetres reach over).
All fencing vertical members are less than 100 millimetres apart.
QLD Fancy Fencing Pty Ltd: Balustrade Compliance
This is to certify that both our 40mm square and 50mm round Balustrade System complies with the Australian Standard AS1170 part 1 Permanent imposed actions and part 2 Wind actions.
All models have been tested by ADVITECH P/L during November 2003 for live load and wind load to a height of 30 meters (10 storey building).
The design check has been carried out using Permissible Stress Design as per AS/ANZS 1664.2.1997. Structural analysis has been carried out using Space Gass v 9.02/32 and strand 7 v 2.1.0.
Both systems are suitable for residential and commercial applications in Regions A1- A7 and B. However, it is not recommended that either system be used in region C and D. Installations are to be in accordance with Ullrich Aluminium Technical Data.
